Exercising at home is a great way to start your fitness journey right now! There are so many options and great resources out there if you are ready and willing to start your fitness journey! These are the at home workouts that I know you will love right now to help boost my energy and fitness at home! Body-weight Circuits

You don’t need heavy weights or any equipment to get a great workout! Using your own body weight to gain strength and get toned is still very effective! Find your favorite circuit (You will love this one in the resources page) to get your heart rate up and your muscles burning! This is the best way to boost your mood and energy!

Yoga/Pilates

Yoga is a less strenuous exercise that is still beneficial! While you won’t reach 90% of your max heart rate, you are still activating many muscle groups and actively stretching muscles, which is, you guessed it, a workout! Lay a towel out in the grass and get to stretching! I know you will enjoy doing yoga and pilates because it will make you feel calm and focus your energy for the day.

Creative Cardio

Cardio isn’t just running! Get creative with the ways you increase your heart rate! Something as simple as taking a brisk walk around the neighborhood, running up and down the stairs, or playing tag with your kids are great cardio options! You may also love turning on some music and doing silly dances while running around with your kids! Get creative and get up and move! This is a great way that will help you feel more energized and fit!

Use the Internet

Right now the internet is full of great ideas to help boost your energy and get fit (most are free thanks virus whose name I won’t mention). Do you like Zumba? Look it up on YouTube. Do you like intense cardio sessions where the instructors yell at you? Again, YouTube. Make use of the internet and these free resources to find all types of different workouts and activities to get active right now in your living room!
